Our History

Fulton Families Matter is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation.

Under the leadership of Anna L. Jackson, the organization was established in February 2001 to serve the families of North Fulton. Prior to founding Fulton Families Matter, Ms. Jackson served as the site coordinator for Fulton Families Matter under the Associates for Comprehensive Services, Inc. (ACPS, Inc.). After 2 successful years with this program, Ms. Jackson secured funding to organize Fulton Families Matter as a 501(c)(3), serving the families and community of North Fulton.

Fulton Families Matter was selected as a fund grantee by the Georgia Department of Human Resources Mental Health Developmental Disabilities and Addictive Diseases to operate a Prevention Resource and Learning Center serving North Fulton County.

Fulton Families Matter is funded by grants and donations from "community minded" foundations and individuals.

Funding is also provided in part by Fulton County Board of Commissioners under the guidance of the Housing and Human Services Department's Grant Program.

Be assured that your support is both welcomed and appreciated.
