Youth Registration Form
Children get assistance
with academic and Life Skills in the after school program and in
summer camp, and there is always someone available for them to talk
to about any of their concerns. They have fun here!
After
School Program - Children from elementary age to young
adults receive assistance with homework, tutoring and confidence
building.
Summer Camp - Children age 6-12
years old enjoy an 8 week day camp experience. They take part in
fun and educational field-trips, brush up on academic skills in
a relaxed atmosphere, and participate in many other growth experiences
as they make new friends of diverse backgrounds and cultures.
Life Skills - Evidence-based curriculum
that is taught in After School and Summer Camp programs.
- I Can Problem Solve - teaches participants problem
solving and interpersonal skills through interactive play sessions
with a facilitator.
- Second Step - teachers techniques to manage
anger and make better choices.
- Stay on Track - Comprehensive substance abuse
prevention programs.

Adult Registration Form
Family Management - The classes
coach parents on ways to relate to both younger children and teenagers
in order to build a strong family unit. Adults are encouraged and
inspired to be life-long learners.
Information Dissemination - Information
is provided that creates awareness of substance abuse and the effects
that this has on the family unit.
Career Resource Development -
Offers assistance to adults seeking employment by enhancing present
skills and teaching new ones.
ESL - Our bilingual staff and
volunteers off English as a Second Language to assist a growing
number of immigrant residents in North Fulton.
Computer Skills Training - Beginner
and intermediate classes in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet
access.
Coalition Membership
The Roswell/North Fulton Community Coalition is
a grassroots coalition that seeks to address issues of local, state,
and national concern as they relate to substance abuse prevention
efforts, and the overall well-being of North Fulton.
